Kieth I. Rieger

Garden City, New York
Rieger & Fried, LLP is one of Long Island's leading divorce firms, with the knowledge and trial experience to make a difference for clients during what is often an emotional time in their lives.  "We're relentless in our pursuit of justice, but we also have compassion and empathy for the family's situation," notes attorney Kieth Rieger who is included in the 2014 and 2015 editions of The Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers since its inception.

Mr. Rieger has focused in the area of matrimonial law for more than three decades.  In that time, he has handled a number of challenging and complex matters, including several significant equitable distribution and interstate  custody disputes.  Mr. Rieger even set legal precedent in a landmark custody case involving the rights of a non-biological father.

As an authority in his field, Mr. Rieger regularly speaks to attorneys in continuing legal education programs.  He is a past dean of the Nassau Academy of Law and serves on the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board.  He has also held leadership positions in the New York State Bar Association's Family Law Section and the Nassau County Bar Association, and he is a longtime member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Mr. Rieger is joined at the firm by Michael Fried, who has nearly 20 years of experience in matrimonial law, and by Joshua Rieger, who was named a 2014 New York Metro Super Lawyer "Rising Star."
